OUR EVENT TIMES

Volunteer Appreciation Party

Join us as we celebrate the incredible volunteers who make Waukesha Civic Theatre possible! From backstage crews and front-of-house teams to committee members, event volunteers, and everyone in between, this afternoon is our chance to say thank you for the time, talent, and passion you share with WCT.
Our first Volunteer Appreciation Party will take place on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 4:30–6:30 PM and will feature food, raffle prizes, volunteer recognition, and plenty of time to connect with fellow members of the WCT family.
As this is the first of what we hope will become a regular tradition, we’re learning as we go and would love your help shaping future celebrations. If you’d like to be involved in planning or hosting future Volunteer Appreciation Parties, please reach out to the WCT staff.
August 8 from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.

Please RSVP using the ticket link so we can plan accordingly. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Fading stage stars George and Charlotte Hay are clinging to one last shot at glory while performing repertory in Buffalo, New York. When they learn that famed director Frank Capra may be in the audience, it could be their big Hollywood break - if their crumbling marriage, oversized egos, and a cascade of comic disasters don’t derail everything first. Packed with mistaken identities, romantic mix-ups, and nonstop backstage mayhem, this high-energy comedic farce is a love letter to the beautiful madness of the theatre.

Experience the journey from childhood to adulthood in Not Alone in the Universe, a moving two act cabaret about showing up for each other, sharing the spotlight, and honoring the people who remind us we are never alone. This October, the Waukesha Civic Theatre invites youth and a parent, relative, mentor, or teacher to take the stage together. Each pair will perform a duet celebrating connection, belonging, and supportive relationships. Join us to explore the bonds between parents and children, teachers and students, and mentors and mentees, capturing the joys, struggles, and growth that shape us all.
