Thom Cauley

Thom has been a performing artist for nearly 20 years, with all kinds of movement, especially dance, always being at his core. He has been privileged to train and work with an incredible variety of performers and teachers. From experimental devised physical theatre with Quasimondo (who jump between genres like Italian Commedia to Noh Theatre to Hindi) to his first love musical theatre classics. While tap is his favorite, there’s never been a style of dance he didn’t like (ballet, ballroom, jazz, hip hop). The core to Thom’s dance and teaching philosophy is that anyone and everyone can dance and there is a genre or style out there waiting to be found by them, and bring them joy. With a BFA in Musical Theatre from Nebraska Wesleyan University, he is now working on a Masters in Education Technologies and Instructional Design.
