Experience the journey from childhood to adulthood in Not Alone in the Universe, a moving two act cabaret about showing up for each other, sharing the spotlight, and honoring the people who remind us we are never alone. This October, the Waukesha Civic Theatre invites youth and a parent, relative, mentor, or teacher to take the stage together. Each pair will perform a duet celebrating connection, belonging, and supportive relationships. Join us to explore the bonds between parents and children, teachers and students, and mentors and mentees, capturing the joys, struggles, and growth that shape us all.

WCT Academy Teens bring myth to life in Mary Zimmerman’s Metamorphoses, based on Ovid’s first-century epic. The play weaves together familiar and rarely-told stories of transformation, juxtaposing the ancient and the contemporary to explore love, loss, and the inevitability of change. The ensemble embodies mythic figures like Midas, Eros and Psyche, and Orpheus and Eurydice through moments of joy, heartbreak, and daring. Visually and emotionally captivating, Metamorphoses invites audiences to reflect on the fluid nature of life, identity, and the world around us - a poetic and unforgettable journey brought vividly to life by these talented young performers.
