Come and meet the Plein Air Artists and see the incredible work they create during the week-long Plein Air Contest. Paintings will be displayed and for sale at Waukesha Civic Theater from 4 - 8pm. Awards for Best in Show, 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and the Nocturn will be announced at 5pm. Artwork purchased can be picked up beginning at 7:30pm and needs to be picked up by 8pm. There will be a cash bar and complimentary appetizer’s available during the reception.

Waukesha Reads is designed to promote reading and unite our community through great books by providing citizens with opportunities to come together and exchange ideas through the discussion of literature, providing a wide range of programs and events that appeal to members of our diverse community, engaging our population in learning about the wider world through the eyes of different authors and types of books, and distributing free books and inviting all to share the experience.

Sherlock Holmes and his side kick, Dr. Watson, are put on the case of a diamond heist that happens to coincide with the mysterious and ongoing disappearance of various wax museum figures from a famous wax museum. Other famous detectives are called into the case as well. While the cadre of sleuths sift through clues and circumstances, Holmes goes mysteriously missing. With a missing diamond, a missing Holmes, and a number of missing wax figures, who will find the answers? This is the 10th ACAP FilmMakers production of the ACAP PlayMakers.
