Fall Semester

Whether you’ve always wanted to get on stage, you’re looking to try something new, or you want to touch up some rusty skills - whatever brought you here, our fall Academy classes will provide you with a fun opportunity to take your turn in the spotlight.

This Is Me (Musical Theatre)

In this class, each student will find a solo musical theatre song that represents who they are – their journey, their personality, or just something they love. These will be performed on the final day of class, along with a showstopping group performance of “This is Me” from The Greatest Showman.

MONDAYS:

Ages 6-10 4:15 – 5:15 PM

Ages 11-18 5:30 – 6:30 PM

WEDNESDAYS:

Adult 5:30 – 6:30 PM

Tuition: $150

Improv Troupe

NEW! Join the improv troupe – you can sign up for just one semester to give it a try, or save big by signing up for the whole school year!

Improvisation is a great way to learn how to think on your feet, build your listening and communication skills, and have a lot of fun while you’re at it. Culminating in a performance for family and friends on the last day of each semester, with the Improv Troupe you can sign up for the whole year or just for a semester. Absolutely no experience is necessary!

TUESDAYS:

Adult 5:30 – 6:30 PM

Tuition: Save by signing up for more than one semester! 1 semester – $150, 2 semesters – $250 ($50 savings), 3 semesters – $350 ($100 savings!)

Stage Management Shadow

Shadow the stage manager of one of WCT’s Mainstage production through a blocking rehearsal, tech rehearsal, and performance to gain experience and get insight into the position. Learn the processes of making a rehearsal report, notating blocking, calling cues, and more while getting hands-on experience in a real rehearsal room.

Other Workshops & Pop-Up Classes

Pop-Up Dance Classes: These drop-in classes are for musical theater lovers of all skill levels. You can come to all the classes, or choose which theme of the month speaks to you! Each class will be its own stand alone workshop so combos do not repeat or rollover to the next class, perfect for busy schedules. Come on out and dance it out!

Audition Workshops: Auditions can be intimidating, but we’re here to help! Whether you need to work your 32-bar cut, find a new monologue, or ace a cold-read, we’ve got you covered.
