September 14: Tap – La La Land with Thom Cauley
Come in for joyous, playful rhythms and footwork as we tap dance to the spell-binding dance break of “Lovely Night” from the Oscar-winning score to La La Land.

Not an experienced tapper? No problem! This class is open level (know how to do a shuffle and a flap? Join in!) While tap shoes are preferred, if you don’t have your own pair and/or just don’t feel comfortable yet with the metal on your feet, you can softshoe it.

October 11: APT. with Ami Majeskie
Game start! Dance along to this fun K-Pop hit by Rosé and Bruno Mars. All you have to do is just meet me at the dance class!

November 8: You Can’t Stop the Beat with Ami Majeskie

Thom Cauley

Thom has been a performing artist for nearly 20 years, with all kinds of movement, especially dance, always being at his core. He has been privileged to train and work with an incredible variety of performers and teachers. From experimental devised physical theatre with Quasimondo (who jump between genres like Italian Commedia to Noh Theatre to Hindi) to his first love musical theatre classics. While tap is his favorite, there’s never been a style of dance he didn’t like (ballet, ballroom, jazz, hip hop). The core to Thom’s dance and teaching philosophy is that anyone and everyone can dance and there is a genre or style out there waiting to be found by them, and bring them joy. With a BFA in Musical Theatre from Nebraska Wesleyan University, he is now working on a Masters in Education Technologies and Instructional Design.
