From script study to character development to voice and movement, students will be fully engaged learning how to bring a script to life on stage.
Create a Play
A unique intro to the world of acting. Students will work to create their own characters, which will then be written into an original script that they will perform.
Moving to the music of Broadway, students will learn choreography as they take on the challenge of storytelling through movement.
Improvisation is a great way to learn to think on your feet, gain confidence, and focus your creative energy. And it’s a lot of fun, too!
Learn a Broadway song, along with choreographed movement, as you continue to strengthen your core musical theatre skills.

Think Saturday Night Live for kids! Students learn and perform original scripts in this one of a kind on camera acting class. We wrap up with a viewing on the big screen at WCT.Register Today!
Student Play Festival
Students enrolled in our acting program will audition for and be cast in one of the 10 minute scripts. Working with the student directors and our professional mentors, these creative teams will learn what it takes to bring a script to life on stage.
Rehearsals (Mon-Fri, 6:00-9:00pm):
(Three casts rehearse in three separate spaces 6-7:30, and the other three rehearse 7:30-9:00)

More Summer Fun
The Academy Summer Picnic is the celebration event for an annual fundraiser for the WCT Academy Scholarship program, a program that provides $10,000 of free or reduced tuition to our community. We ask Academy students and families to join us for pizza, games, karaoke, and prizes for our top fundraising families.
