Stage Combat

While a fight on stage can seem chaotic and out of control, it really never is. Creating a stage fight requires discipline, focus, and precision. Hours of work go into making seemingly simple fights on stage as safe and believable as possible. Students will learn the art of creating stage combat in a fun and safe environment.

Acting Up

What does it take to bring a character to life on stage? This class will help students build the skills necessary to do just that. Extensive voice, movement, and character exercises will help bring into focus all of the tools we have as actors. The class will culminate in the performance of a short scene.

Create A Play

This wonderful introduction to acting will have the students each create their very own character. They come up with all of the character details, even their costume. These characters are then written into an original script which the students perform on the last day of class. Create A Play is a fun-filled first step into the world of acting.

Musical Madness

Students will not only learn to sing a Broadway tune, they will learn to perform it. With light choreography and an emphasis on storytelling, students will learn that musical numbers are about more than just singing.
