Time to Act
Mondays
Create A Play—A fun-filled introduction to the world of acting. The teacher will work with the students to create their very own characters. Then, those characters will be written into an original script that the students will perform on their sixth and final day of class.
4:00-5:00 p.m. Ages 6-8
Adult Acting Workshop—Have you always wanted to give acting a try? This class is a great way to learn the core skills needed to be on stage. The class will focus on character development, scene study, and basic vocal and physical techniques used to bring a script to life on stage. The class will culminate with a short performance on the sixth and final day.
5:15-6:15 p.m. Ages 18+
Tuesdays
Acting Up—Students will build the core skills needed to be on stage. We will explore characterization techniques both physical and vocal, and how they help to tell the story. The class will culminate in a short performance for family and friends during the sixth and final class.
4:00-5:00 p.m. Ages 9-12
Make The Scene—This class will give students a unique opportunity to bring an idea to life on stage. Not only will the students work on building their stage skills, but they will also have a hand in the writing of the script. The sixth and final class will be a short performance of their original work for family and friends.
5:15-6:15 p.m. Ages 13-18
Wednesdays
