OUR EVENT TIMES
Make A Scene! (online Tuesdays 10/20-11/24)
This fun and engaging acting class challenges the students to help write the script they’ll eventually perform. In Week 1, students will brainstorm ideas and over the next couple of weeks, learn more about bringing those ideas to life in a script. The performed script will be recorded during the last class. No experience necessary. Students just need to bring a little creativity, a little energy, and a whole lot of silliness!
Ages 9-12 years old.
Taught by Doug Jarecki
Class Schedule: Tuesdays 4:00 p.m.-4:50 p.m. (Classes meet once per week for six weeks)
Take Two! (online Mondays 10/19-11/23)
Take Two is a one-of-a-kind experience! Students will start out by learning a popular monologue from an existing show. They will then create an original ‘response’ monologue to it from one of the other characters in the show. This unique blend of performance and playwriting is a great way to learn character development and storytelling from different perspectives.
Ages 13-17 years old.
Taught by Gwen TerHaar
