When mysterious candy maker Willy Wonka hides golden tickets in five of his delicious chocolate bars, only a lucky few will win a once-in-a-lifetime tour of his magical factory — and a lifetime supply of candy. Among the winners is young, kind-hearted Charlie Bucket, who embarks on a fantastical adventure with his beloved grandfather, encountering wondrous inventions, magical treats, and lessons in honesty and humility along the way. Packed with songs from the classic 1971 film plus fun new numbers, this scrumdidilyumptious musical is a delight for the whole family - a dazzling, whimsical celebration of imagination, mischief, and chocolate!

Join us as we celebrate the incredible volunteers who make Waukesha Civic Theatre possible! From backstage crews and front-of-house teams to committee members, event volunteers, and everyone in between, this afternoon is our chance to say thank you for the time, talent, and passion you share with WCT. Our first Volunteer Appreciation Party will take place on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 4:30–6:30 PM and will feature food, raffle prizes, volunteer recognition, and plenty of time to connect with fellow members of the WCT family. As this is the first of what we hope will become a regular tradition, we're learning as we go and would love your help shaping future celebrations. If you'd like to be involved in planning or hosting future Volunteer Appreciation Parties, please reach out to the WCT staff.

WCT Academy Summer Showcase is the final performance of a two-week-long summer camp, a fun-filled variety show, featuring WCT Academy students of all ages, and open to the public.

John McGivern – John McGivern is back with a collection of stories that humorously examine not only the seasons of the weather/calendar year but also the seasons of our lives. Spring, the season of birth and new life and anticipation. Summer, the season of sun and long days and rapid growth. Fall, the season of sepia-colored moments that turn into lifetime memories. Winter, the season of retrospect and quiet shades of white with long, cold, dark nights. And throughout the whole year? Laughter and humor that make time fly!
