- The
Waukesha Civic Theatre’s PlayMakers and Art Links’ ACAP Players
production of Folk Tales Around the World,
features humorous animal tales from six different countries, each offering a
life lesson or moral. Presented with colorful masks and authentic music, the
production includes opportunities for audience participation.
- Folk
Tales Around the World, funded in part by a grant from the
Arts Alliance of Waukesha County, will run from October 11th –
17th, 2007.
- PlayMakers,
along with the ACAP Players, provide daytime performances (often of original
works) based upon school curricula, themes, and ideas relevant to children
at various stages of their education. While offered primarily to
school groups, these family friendly shows are great for public, private,
and home school groups, Boy and Girl Scout troops, senior centers, and your
family!
- ACAP
(Adaptive Community Approach Program) is a community based non-profit
organization whose mission is to encourage people with disabilities to
achieve their highest potential and acquire life-long skills which will
enable them to become contributing and valued members within their
communities.
- The
cast includes: Rob Ellicson, Amanda Marheine, Dave Raasch, Danika Richards
and Marcia Skarie. Ramsey Schlissel is the Director and Phillip Alonge is
the Stage Manager.
- Ticket
prices are only $5.00 per ticket and $4.00 per ticket for groups of 10 or
more. Reservations need to have a deposit to hold the tickets. For
