PLAYMAKERS, along with ACAP Players, provide daytime performances (often of original works) based upon school curricula, themes, and ideas relevant to children at various stages of their education. While offered primarily to school groups, these family friendly shows are great for Public, Private, and Home School groups, Boy and Girl Scout troupes, senior centers, and your family! Tickets are only $5 (or $4 each for groups of 10 or more).
ACAP (Adaptive Community Approach Program) is a community based non-profit organization whose mission is to encourage people with disabilities to achieve their highest potential and acquire life-long skills which will enable them to become contributing and valued members within their communities.

The WCT PlayMakers and the ACAP Players join forces for the sixth season with this wonderful story. Travelers with disabilities seek the Wizard for help. Barriers along the journey demonstrate the importance of accessibility, and the negative effects of being labeled. Sprinkled with adapted songs based on the original movie version, the classic tale is reworked to convey the message of acceptance and equality.
