Waukesha Civic Theater is currently seeking to contract with an accounting professional to help prepare monthly financial statement in a timely accurate manner to be presented at monthly board meetings.
WCT uses QuickBooks to enter receipts and disbursement on a daily basis. WCT uses an outside payroll service. It is WCT’s staff responsibility to enter all receipts and disbursement into QuickBooks and communicate all payroll information to the payroll service. WCT has approximately 50 disbursements per month totally $30,000.00. Disbursement is made by combination of QuickBooks checks, debit card transactions, credit card transactions, and EFT payments. WCT has four full-time and ten part-time employees.
The contracted accounting professional’s responsibility would be to insure financial statements are prepared on a monthly basis for monthly board meetings. This would include:
Review bank reconciliation
Review account classification
Make adjusting journal entries
Compile Income statement and balance sheet
